COVID-19 UPDATE: Due to the economic fallout of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we are forced to make some operational changes. Over the next month, POET biorefineries in Chancellor, South Dakota and Ashton and Coon Rapids, Iowa will temporarily idle production. In addition, the biorefinery in Shelbyville, Indiana will be delaying the startup of production.

POET has faced difficult times in the past and we have proven our resiliency. We value the partnership and relationship we have with all of our producers and look forward to getting back to normal operations. POET Biorefining - Glenville, located in Albert Lea, MN (near Glenville, MN) produces 42 million gallons of ethanol annually. POET Biorefining - Glenville is the 8th ethanol plant built by POET Design & Construction and the 4th plant to be managed by POET.

With cooperation of the many local leaders and in partnership with members of the agricultural community and the state political leadership, POET Biorefining - Glenville is excited to bring a new kind of value-added agriculture to the state of Minnesota.

Ethanol production by POET Biorefining - Glenville consumes approximately 15 million bushels of corn from the region and provides not only an environmentally friendly fuel, but also a valuable high quality livestock feed for local, regional and national markets.
